* The Giveaway

So this is the bit that everyone who clicks on this will want to read. This giveaway will be launched today (5^th June 2021) and will run for 2 weeks (19^th June 2021), at which point I will collate all of the entrants and then use some sort of random generation system, or my youngest daughter, to pick a winner. The winner will get [this pen](https://i.imgur.com/n70uRFD.jpg) which will be fitted with a steel bock #6 nib (either silver, gold or two tone in colour) of a size their choice (EF – 1.9 Stub). This giveaway is not affiliated with any one other than Den’s Pens. So enough of that, what you want to know is how to enter.

Right, here we go. So I have never shied away from the face that I suffer from pretty bad depression and with that in mind I want you guys to make me laugh. You can use a joke, a limerick, a meme, a photo, a video, whatever. If it if NSFW please note this as I will be looking at these on my lunch breaks in the weeks. * Pen making

Two years of doing these updates, well it’s actually longer as I have missed the odd week and posted late etc. However the week number is what I am going by. So what has happened in the last year, I don’t really want to go over that if I am honest, let’s just say it was a bit crap. On the pen making side of things though I have learned a lot and my craft has improved a lot too.

I went back and looked at some of the images from week one of this year. A nice green pen with [black ends](https://i.imgur.com/7wzZqMT.jpg) a design I haven’t really done much with and I should probably do more of. It’s one I like and I think I will do more after the pen show in July. Then there is a black and white acrylic pen [I made](https://i.imgur.com/LvLZoi0.jpg). Nice pens, and both are now happily with their owners.

Then moving onto ones I have just finished. A brooks PM1 in my [Baldur style](https://i.imgur.com/S3ZUdHP.jpg) a pretty standard design for me and I am making a [bunch more](https://i.imgur.com/B9sdxkj.jpg). Then there is the Vanargand model in two different materials. Both Diamond Cast, one is [Amethyst](https://i.imgur.com/MwrEcUo.jpg) and the other is [Apple Blossom](https://i.imgur.com/UEMwQlq.jpg) which features my in house made roll stop on the cap.

The big difference of course is the photography which my wife is now in complete control of (thank the gods). The new photos are a bazillion times better and show of the materials fantastically.

As for the pen making today, bit slim on the ground, had my Covid jab this morning and I am not feeling great but I needed to get this done. So I think I am going to rest now. Look forward to seeing some of you enter my giveaway.
