Some mistakes continue to happen, and I continue to attempt to fix them. This time it was the section of a new pen, when I was cutting the section off of the blank it chipped around the edge, this was entirely my fault, I wasn’t spinning the lathe up high enough. Remember, when cutting high speed is good, either that or use a hack saw. So yeah, I ended up with something I thought I could use as I worked out the inner diameter of the hole for the section was small enough there should have been enough material left. I probably should have stopped working on pens this morning when I went down to the workshop and ended up having to take the front panel off the lathe to get at the [electronics](https://i.imgur.com/7Myh7cx.jpg). The on off buttons had become loose and ended up moving to the point where they no longer worked. The casing had cracked around the join, I epoxied it back together and fixed it in the end.

I made a bunch of smaller pens last week plus one or two customer pens. [This](https://i.imgur.com/BZAVPp7.jpg) is what I ended up with. In there is one made out of Kirinite pearl acrylic, I love it [the material almost glows](https://i.imgur.com/pHg3NKx.jpg) . The ones I am working on now are the two which I didn’t get to [finish](https://i.imgur.com/ZkNSQTt.jpg) plus a bunch [more](https://i.imgur.com/Is6frZr.jpg) there are two customer ones in there which are [these](https://i.imgur.com/c2H0skq.jpg). When I finished up as I had to cook dinner and get stuff around the house done I ended up with a bunch of sections and two fully shaped [pens](https://i.imgur.com/PxaaFTJ.jpg).

One thing I did do was make a section to a new design which has the threads on the front of it which will screw into the cap just further back. [This](https://i.imgur.com/0fhBbdp.jpg) is what it looks like now I am still playing around in my head what it will end up like.
